Welcome/Aba-wath-tech there,
Our on-location Traditional Projects (Family-Friendly options available) will enable an Indigenous Person to reclaim a Traditional & Contemporary practice. Products made will be evenly distributed to the participants.
Open to non-Indigenous People wanting to learn &/or observe Authentic Indigenous Experiences from Tanning-Hide to Story-telling. Enjoy the natural scenic landscape with the Candian Rockies in the background.

Project 1. On-location reclaiming Traditional Hide-Tanning sessions
Skinning Process approximately ~ 2 weeks
Smoking Process approximately ~ 2 weeks
Equipment Provided: Wild Animal Hide and Wooden Poles, Wooden Seating Logs & Picnic Tables, Rental Hide Tools, Daily Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Supper).
Timeframe: 2 - 4 weeks

Project 2. On-location reclaiming Traditional harvesting & forging of Dry-Meat Making
Butchering Wild Meat Process approximately 1 - 3 days
Smoking Process approximately 1 - 2 weeks
Traditional & Contemporary Practices

Oven Baked and/or Traditional Rock Grinding methodologically
Equipment Provided: Large Wooden Poles for Skinning & Tanning the Hide, Knives, Rental Hide Tools, Daily Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Supper).
(not recommended for Children 12 and younger)
Timeframe: 2-4 weeks approx.

Project 3. On-location Friendly non-competitive Indigenous Traditional Games
Repurposing the deadwood found within the boundaries of co-founders of Sacred White Bison Footprints residences.
Day-Time Option:

Using the deadwood to make Talking Sticks and Traditional Stoney Nakoda “Mountain People” storytelling of the Mountains and Triangles used on today's Teepees.

Friendly DIY Traditional Games & Carry case
Equipment Provided: Small Wooden Poles (10 inches), Carry Case (cloth & threat), Paint and Brush
Timeframe: 30 minutes to 1 hour approx.

Project 4. Youth & Elder Traditional Story-telling/Talking Circles sessions
Day-Time Option:

Engage in Trickster Storytelling beside the outdoor open fire with a Natural setting and having the Canadian Rockies in the background is a bonus for the Traveller
